Today it had to be quite simple as well, and this dish is just that.


250ml rice
1 tsp salt
500ml hot water
drizzle of oil

For the Chicken Nuggets:

300g chicken breasts

1 dl bread crumbs
1 dl crushed corn flakes
1 dl flour
1 egg
salt and pepper

Oil for Frying (Sunflower or similar)

Preparation Method:
Start with the rice, drizzle some oil in a frying pan, add your rice and salt and stir for a while so that it starts to sizzle, add your hot water and cover with a lid, simmer it on the lowest heat for about 20min.

In the meantime prepare your 3 plates, one plate with flour, one with whisked egg and one with breadcrumbs and crushed corn flakes (the corn flakes make it even more crunchy).
Slice your chicken breasts into smaller pieces, season them with salt and pepper.


Dip each chicken piece first in flour, then in egg and lastly cover it in breadcrumbs.

Take a frying pan and put some oil in it, when it is hot enough place your chicken nuggets in one buy one and fry them on both sides, this should take only about 10 minutes.

I normally serve this with either rice or potatoes and some vegetables.
