Fantastic Meatloaf Dinner
1 kg minced meat (half beef/half porc)
½ dl bread crumbs
1 dl milk…
2 tbsp beef stock (concentrated)
1 large onion (I grate it finely)
1 tbsp ‘’Pizza’’ spices (oregano etc.)
salt & pepper
1 package of bacon (8 slices)
In a large bowl mix bread crumbs with milk, and whisk in the egg and beef stock.
Either chopped onion into small pcs or grate it with a grater and add it to the mixture.
Mix in the minced meat, spices, salt and pepper.
Using a rectangular shaped baking form, line the inside of it with bacon slices and let them hand over the edges, place all the minced meat mixture inside and cover with the overlapping bacon like a little parcel.
Bake it in the oven for about 50min at 180 degrees.
2 dl cooking cream
2 tbsp beef fond (concentrated)
½ tbsp soya
1 tbsp. Lingon berry jam or Black currant gele
Salt and pepper
Preparation Method for the sauce:
Mix all ingredients together in a pot. Bring them to boil and lower the heat.
Let them cook together for 5-10min.
1 large onion
2 tsp sugar
Oil for frying
Preparation Method for Caramelized onions:
Put some oil into a frying pan, slice onions and start to fry them in the frying pan. Sprinkle sugar over them and season with salt.
Fry until nice golden and crunchy.
Serve with boiled potatoes and lingon berries jam/black current gele.
